Jewelry Layering Inspiration

Jun 4, 2020by Renee Beauchamp

Want to know how to layer necklaces, earrings, and rings? We love to inspire sparkly and interesting jewelry layers and to combine textures, shapes, and color. Consider is here this week to show you a few of our favorite ways to layer and inspire you to create your own stack story.

We always include jewelry-layering inspiration on each of our product pages throughout our website, but we wanted to dedicate a CTWF Journal post to a few of our favorite 2020 layered looks.

All the stackers! For a simple and edgy look, we love these dainty rings en masse. There are so many ways to stack this look and it’s the perfect way to create a beautiful collection over time. Make it meaningful with our Birthstone Stacker (also available in Three Birthstone and Five Birthstone Stacker options). Add texture with matte, hammered and twist rings and play around with this comfortable and chic look. Shop stackers collection

Wrist stacks for the summer? Yes please. We love the Milestone Bangle as she plays well in any bracelet stack. Paired with the Original Gold Bangle and the twisted links in the Basket Chain Bracelet, this is an everyday look that will inspire beauty. For a personalized element - we’ve added the Round Cherished Bracelet that can be engraved with a meaningful letter.

The center ring, our Classic Namesake, was designed to tell your story. Customize her with a letter, number, graphic, logo or fingerprint to make this ring stack a source of daily inspiration and meaning. Paired with the Equilibrium Open Pave Band and the White Diamond Triangle Nesting Ring - this stack is an understated showstopper.

Dainty chains telling a bold story. A must-have for any necklace layering look is our Seed Lariat necklace as it provides length and texture. The Seed Arc Necklace with an offset seed set on a curved bar adds interest to this look when paired with the traditional and timeless Seed Necklace.

The Salt and Pepper Balance Ring is the perfect sparkly centerpiece for this incredible ring stack. We usually recommend the Jaclyn Band to brides, but baguette and round white diamonds are for all occasions. Paired with two more tapered looks: the Hammered Jade Ring and the Emma White Diamond Chevron Band - shape, shine, and interest combine in this truly unique ring stack.

Minimal and made for every day. The Simple Circle necklace anchors the look while the Medium Herringbone Chain adds serious elements of sparkle and edge. The Classic Rolo Chain completes this layering story adding texture and interest. Varying chain lengths, weights, and types is essential in necklace layering.

Stacks on stacks. We’re living for these chunky Gold Jumbo Huggies that are simple yet edgy. Combined with Twisted Petite Hoops for some contrast, this is a dynamic duo. For a little sparkle to round out the stack: Small White Diamond Studs for a little three-prong perfection.

For bridal layering, the 1 carat oval diamond on the Valo engagement ring is just beyond. Speaking of, the vintage-inspired Foxglove wedding band adds shape, diamonds and gold in one fell swoop. For the grand finale, our Snowflake Ring showcasing 26 perfect diamonds and one little additional flake on top - because no two love stories are alike.

Show us your layers! We love to see how you stack and layer your pieces. No two stories or stacks are the same and we want to see how you’re wearing CTWF. Tag us on Instagram and help us to inspire the Wldflwr community. As always, stay safe and thank you for reading.
